When muscles and tendons become damaged or impaired, knotted, tense, or immobile, Remedial Massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. Remedial Massage holistically treats the whole body and traces the discomfort as far as possible back to the original cause, healing both the cause of the disorder as well as the symptoms.
SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish Massage is a system of long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration and shaking motions that apply pressure between muscles and bones, rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. Swedish Massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep Tissue Massage, as its name says, focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is designed to reach the deep sections of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibres. Using deep muscle compression and friction along with the grain of the muscle, the purpose of Deep Tissue Massage is to ‘unstick’ the fibres of the muscle and release both toxins and deeply held tension points.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE

This treatment uses the combination of Swedish and Remedial Massage techniques, to assist with the tensions and pains experienced during pregnancy. These are often caused by the extra weight and shift in the centre of gravity. There are many physical benefits to Pregnancy Massage, in addition to the nurturing and emotional support provided by the practitioner. Massage reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, and helps to prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE

ZENTHAI SHIATSU MASSAGE

REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is based on the principle that congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. These parts, known as reflex points, can also be found on the hands and other parts of the body, however, the most commonly treated area is the feet. Reflexology is a relaxing therapy that works on many levels, soothing, calming, balancing, and boosting the entire body.
